Key Features

Instant upgrades with immediate access to new features
Fair proration for mid-cycle changes—no wasted money
No penalties or fees for plan changes
Switch between monthly and annual billing anytime
Preview costs before confirming changes

Upgrading Your Plan

Upgrades take effect immediately, giving you instant access to increased quotas, additional features, and enhanced capabilities. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remaining time in your current billing period.

Immediate Activation

When you upgrade, the new plan activates instantly. You immediately get:

  • • Increased download credit allocation
  • • Higher storage limits and quotas
  • • Access to new plan-specific features
  • • Improved API rate limits
  • • Enhanced priority and support

Proration Calculation

You only pay for the remaining time in your billing period at the new rate. The unused portion of your current plan is credited toward the upgrade.

Example Upgrade:
Current: Basic ($4.99/month)
New: Business ($14.99/month)
Days remaining: 15 of 30
Credit: $4.99 × (15/30) = $2.50
Charge: $14.99 × (15/30) = $7.50
You pay: $7.50 - $2.50 = $5.00

Credit Allocation

After upgrading, your download credits update immediately:

  • • Keep all existing credits (monthly + purchased)
  • • Receive prorated new plan credits for current period
  • • Next month refresh at new plan rate
  • • Higher rollover maximum applies immediately

Billing Cycle

Your billing cycle date remains the same after upgrading. The next full charge at the new rate occurs on your regular billing date.

No Commitment Required

Upgrades don't lock you in. You can downgrade later if your needs change. There are no long-term commitments or penalties.

Downgrading Your Plan

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, allowing you to use all paid features until then. You receive a prorated credit for any unused portion.

End-of-Period Transition

When you downgrade, your current plan remains active until your next billing date. This ensures you get full value from what you've paid.

  • • Keep current plan features until period ends
  • • No immediate feature restrictions
  • • New plan activates on next billing date
  • • Clear notification of transition date

Feature Changes

When your downgrade takes effect, your account adjusts to the new plan's limits:

Monthly Credits
Reduced to new plan allocation. Purchased credits remain available.
Storage Limits
If you're over the new limit, you can't upload new files until you delete enough content.
Team Features
Downgrading from Business to Basic removes team collaboration features. Team data is preserved.
API Limits
Rate limits adjust to new plan tier. API calls may be throttled if exceeding new limits.

Credit Application

While downgrades don't provide refunds (since you keep service until period end), any prorated credits are applied to your next invoice at the new plan rate.

Data Preservation

All your data, projects, and generated content are preserved when downgrading. Nothing is deleted—you just have lower quotas for new activities.

⚠️

Important: Check Storage Before Downgrading

If you're currently using more storage than your new plan allows, you'll need to delete files before the downgrade takes effect to avoid being locked out of uploads.

Switching Billing Intervals

Switch between monthly and annual billing anytime. Annual billing saves 17% and provides predictable yearly costs. Monthly billing offers maximum flexibility.

Monthly to Annual

Switching to annual billing takes effect immediately. You'll receive a credit for unused monthly time and be charged the annual rate.

Example Savings:
Business: $14.99/month × 12 = $179.88/year
Annual: $149.99/year
You save: $29.89 (17% off)

Annual to Monthly

Switching to monthly billing takes effect at the end of your annual period. You keep annual pricing until then, then switch to monthly at renewal.

Proration Rules

When switching to annual immediately, you receive credit for unused monthly time. When switching from annual to monthly, you keep annual benefits until the year ends.

Best Practices

Preview Before Changing

Always preview plan changes to understand costs and feature impacts. This prevents surprises and ensures the new plan meets your needs.

Upgrade When Needed

Don't hesitate to upgrade when approaching limits. Instant activation prevents workflow interruptions and you only pay prorated amounts.

Time Downgrades Strategically

If downgrading, schedule it early in your billing cycle to maximize use of current plan features before transition.

Consider Annual for Stability

If you'll use Wubble long-term, annual billing saves 17% and provides predictable costs. Switch to annual during low-activity periods.

Clean Up Before Downgrading

If downgrading to a plan with less storage, delete unnecessary files first to ensure you're within new limits.

Use Credits Wisely

Before downgrading, use remaining monthly credits since they won't roll over at the higher limit. Purchased credits remain available.

Monitor Usage Trends

Review usage analytics before changing plans. Ensure the new plan tier aligns with your actual consumption patterns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I upgrade and downgrade multiple times?

Yes, change plans as often as needed with no penalties. Each change is prorated fairly. However, frequent changes may complicate billing tracking.

Will I lose data when downgrading?

No. All projects, generated content, and account data are preserved. You just have lower quotas for new activities moving forward.

Can I cancel instead of downgrading?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription anytime. Downgrading to Free maintains limited access, while canceling ends your subscription at period end.

What happens to my team when downgrading from Business?

Team collaboration features become unavailable, but all team data and projects are preserved. You can upgrade again to restore team access.

Can I get a refund if I downgrade?

Downgrades don't provide refunds since you keep full access until your period ends. You've paid for that time and get to use it.

How do upgrades affect my billing date?

Your billing date stays the same. You're charged a prorated amount immediately for the upgrade, then the full new amount on your regular billing date.
