License Types

Detailed comparison of Personal, Commercial, and Enterprise license tiers with features, permissions, and use cases

Overview

Wubble offers three distinct license tiers, each designed for specific use cases, scales, and requirements. Understanding the differences helps you choose the right license for your needs and ensures you have the appropriate rights for your projects.

All licenses provide perpetual rights to content generated during your active subscription. The tier you choose determines usage permissions, attribution requirements, and commercial rights.

Choosing the Right License

Choose based on your intended use, not your current needs. If there's any possibility of monetization, commercial use, or client projects, select Commercial tier from the start. Upgrading later doesn't retroactively change the license of previously generated content.

Personal License

The Personal license is designed for individuals, students, hobbyists, and creators who want to use AI-generated audio for non-commercial purposes. It's perfect for learning, personal projects, portfolios, and creative exploration.

What's Included

Non-Commercial Projects

Use AI-generated audio in personal projects, school assignments, hobby projects, and creative experiments that generate no revenue.

Portfolio Use

Include generated content in your portfolio, demo reel, or personal website to showcase your skills. This remains non-commercial even if your portfolio is public.

Educational Use

Students and educators can use content for class projects, presentations, research, and academic work. Does not cover for-profit educational institutions creating commercial course content.

Social Media Sharing

Share content on social media platforms for personal expression, not for monetization. Non-monetized YouTube videos, Instagram posts, and similar content is permitted.

Practice & Learning

Experiment, learn, and develop your skills with AI audio tools. Generate content to understand capabilities, test workflows, and build expertise.

Restrictions

No Monetization

Cannot use content on monetized YouTube videos, sponsored posts, affiliate marketing, or any platform where you earn revenue from the content.

No Client Work

Cannot deliver content to clients, use in freelance projects, or incorporate into work for other businesses or individuals.

No Commercial Use

Cannot use in advertising, marketing campaigns, promotional materials, product demos, or any commercial context.

No Broadcasting

Cannot use in television, radio, streaming platforms, or any broadcast media.

Ideal For

  • • Students creating class projects and assignments
  • • Hobbyists exploring audio production
  • • Creators building portfolios and demo reels
  • • Personal content creators (non-monetized)
  • • Individuals learning audio production skills

Upgrading for Commercial Use

If your project becomes commercial later, you must upgrade to Commercial tier and regenerate the content. Previously generated Personal tier content cannot be used commercially even after upgrading.

Commercial License

The Commercial license provides full commercial rights for professionals, content creators, agencies, and small-to-medium businesses. It's the most popular tier for creators who monetize their work or create content for clients.

Full Commercial Rights

Monetization

Monetize your content through advertising, sponsorships, affiliate marketing, subscriptions, paywalls, and any other revenue model. Use on monetized YouTube, paid podcasts, streaming platforms, and more.

Client Projects

Use generated audio in work for clients. Freelancers and agencies can deliver finished projects containing AI-generated content to clients with full rights transfer.

Marketing & Advertising

Create commercial advertisements, marketing campaigns, promotional content, product demos, and brand content. Use across all marketing channels and platforms.

Broadcasting

Full broadcasting rights for television, radio, streaming services, podcasts, and digital platforms. No geographical restrictions.

Products & Services

Include generated audio in products and services you sell: apps, games, courses, audiobooks, digital products, physical products with audio components.

Attribution-Free

No attribution required. Use content seamlessly in your work without crediting Wubble or indicating AI generation (though transparency is always appreciated).

Upgrading & Downgrading

You can change your license tier at any time. Understanding how upgrades and downgrades affect your existing content and rights is important for compliance.

Upgrading

When you upgrade (Personal → Commercial or Commercial → Enterprise):

  • • New content gets the upgraded license immediately
  • • Existing content retains its original license
  • • Must regenerate content to upgrade its license
  • • Upgrade takes effect immediately upon payment

Downgrading

When you downgrade (Commercial → Personal or Enterprise → Commercial):

  • • Content generated before downgrade keeps original rights
  • • New content gets the downgraded license
  • • Previous commercial use rights remain valid
  • • Downgrade takes effect at end of billing period

Cancellation

If you cancel your subscription entirely:

  • • All previously generated content retains perpetual rights
  • • Can continue using content per original license
  • • Cannot generate new content without active subscription
  • • Resubscribing starts fresh (doesn't restore old license for new content)
